From Bits Back to Atoms: My Next Chapter
Happy New Year!
To kick off 2026, I’m excited to introduce Holonomy Systems, a deep-tech venture dedicated to solving the core manufacturing and engineering bottlenecks in nuclear fusion.
This is not a pivot; it is a return to my roots. My journey began over a decade ago in the Department of Engineering and System Science (formerly Nuclear Engineering), driven by a youthful ambition to solve the energy crisis. Instead of taking the traditional academic path, I spent the last decade building software, scaling financial infrastructure, and navigating the chaotic world of startups.
Looking back, it was the essential training ground. Building Zeus Network has been one of the most intense 0-to-1 journeys of my life. Over the last four years, wearing the hats of CTO, product-lead, and operations, I’ve had the privilege of seeing a complex vision evolve into a living, breathing ecosystem.
Now, with our core infrastructure stable and the platform scaling, my primary mission here is complete. I will be transitioning from CTO to an advisory role, handing over the day-to-day operations to our incredibly capable leadership team.
The lessons I learned scaling internet capital infrastructure will now be applied to the most fundamental challenge of our time. Building a fusion company today requires more than just physics; it demands the speed of software execution and the rigor of capital allocation.
It’s time to move the needle on the physical world. Onward.
